Itinerary

Day 0: Arrival in Athens and transfer to Nafplio

Arrive in Athens on Thursday evening and board a bus to Nafplio, the country's most romantic city. Explore on your own or follow our self-guided tour to discover more about the area.

Day 1: Snorkel and sea kayak to remote beaches

Rise and shine, it's time for a full day out on the water! Start the morning by sea kayaking around the rugged Peloponnesian coastline on our way to 3 remote islands. Keep your eyes peeled for rare birds and plants that populate the area!

After a full morning in the water, enjoy your homemade lunch prepared by a local Nafplio resident, followed by a leisurely nap in the sunshine.

Once you’ve had enough of the sand and sea, it will be time to head back to town where you’ll have a free evening to explore more of Nafplio and sample the best local cuisine. We highly recommend finishing the night with a seafood dinner with a shot of ouzo!

Day 2: Sea kayak around medieval fortresses and travel back to Athens

On Day 2, we set off from the Port of Nafplio to discover more of this famous coastline. Your expert guide will share the history and folklore of the area as you paddle past 4 medival castles, including Bourtzi Fortress and Palamidi Castle. Then, we make our way towards more remote beaches for snacks and refreshments.

After a leisurely swim, it's time to paddle onwards to Karathonas Beach where you'll have the opportunity to play around on a SUP board or go for a spin on a water cycle. Head back to Athens that evening to get a taste of the city's legendary nightlife!
